From the Fall 1987 collection, this rare piece was modeled on the runway by 1980s supermodel Marpessa Hennink. We love the colorful houndstooth tweed this jacket is cut from, the grosgrain ribbon trim, the clever vertically placed pockets, the Coco Chanel profile buttons, and the oversized cut. It got this ease to it and pairs beautifully with jeans.
On the inside, the jacket is lined in silk and finished with the trademark chain at the hem.
Size: size label reads 42. Our model is size FR36 and the jackets fits her beautifully. We believe this piece can be suitable for sizes FR38 (oversized fit) up to FR46 (based on bust measurements). Please refer to the item's measurement to determine fit.
Color: purple, off-white, blue, black, brown, navy, orange.
Condition: jacket exterior is in very good condition. Light wear to the buttons and grosgrain ribbon trim consistent with age. Interior lining is in very good condition, light wear and faint discoloration at underarm area of the lining, barely visible. Overall this piece is in very good condition.
Fabric composition: fabric label removed, feels like a wool blend.
