This dreamy jacket comes from the Fall 1983 collection, the last season before Karl Lagerfeld took over the ready-to-wear line of the House. We love the beautiful tweed boucle this piece is cut from, our favorite fabric that is known for looking new after years of wear. Here, it is covered in black sequence throughout.
Note the chic bow detail that continues as a trim on the neck at and at the two front pockets, one of the signature details Chanel jackets are known for. The piece is fully lined and has a button closure.
It is quite remarkable how a piece that was designed 40 years ago can look so modern today. Truly timeless, this jacket is worthy of a true Chanel collector.
